CHEMISTRY

The department of Chemistry of Harimohan Ghose College started its journey from 9th August, 1979. On this day, the first post was created for Chemistry teacher. From that day onwards, Chemistry department is trying hard to bring more and more light to the under privileged students of this locality.

The chemistry department Laboratory is well equipped with almost all the amenities which are essential for the general stream chemistry practical. The department is enriched with experience, qualified and hardworking staffs for smooth running its day-to-day activity.

The teachers and the students of Chemistry department are highly collaborative in nature. They participated in almost all the programs organized by college as well as other departments. Along with this, the students also secured good marks in their semester examination in Chemistry paper.
