The Department of Physiology has been introduced in the college in the year 2001,when B.Sc. Physiology (General course) was taught. Later on, in the year 2003-04, CU has extended the affiliation for Honours course. At present both BSc General and Honours courses are running successfully with total strength for Honours is 22 and General 25. The teacher strength of the department is 6 including two full-time teachers, three state-aided college teachers ( SACT) and one Guest Lecturer. There are 3 specialized laboratories namely Bio- chemistry, Experimental and Histology located at the Science building and a General laboratory cum class-room at the Old building constitute the department.
