Career Counselling & Placement Cell

The Counselling and Placement Cell of the college plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting students in their career journeys. The cell works towards facilitating placements and internships for students by establishing connections with companies and organizations. Workshops, seminars, and training sessions are conducted for students by them. The cell also maintains a comprehensive records of students’ academic achievements, placements, and other relevant information.

CAREER COUNSELLING WORKSHOP BY RICE

A Career Counselling Workshop was jointly organized by IQAC & Counselling and Placement Cell of Harimohan Ghose College in association with RICE Foundation on 19th April 2024. It was conducted in the smart classroom from 12:30 pm. Five members from RICE had come to the college. Amongst them, the resource person discussed elaborately about scopes and opportunities of Public sector jobs. He had also taken a special class regarding that. Almost fifty students participated in the workshop. Principal Sir, IQAC Coordinator, and teachers of the college were present on the occasion.

Placement with Analytica Food Tech Services

Today (07. 02.2024), a Campus Interview was jointly organized by IQAC & Counselling and Placement Cell of Harimohan Ghose College in association with Analytica Food Tech Services (P) Ltd. Three experts from the Company came to the college to conduct the campus interview. Thirty-one (31) pass-out students from the Science and Commerce streams attended the interview. The experts have preliminarily short-listed 12 students for final screening.
